Marbella Beaches for Active Visitors

Watersports activities are available at a range of beaches along the Marbella coastline, a couple of great beach choices for active visitors are:

  • Fontanilla Beach – This 800m stretch of sand sits in the centre of the resort area and provides a great environment for activities such as water skiing and windsurfing. For those seeking something a little less strenuous there are pedaloes for hire, while a selection of beach bars in the area offer the opportunity to relax and refuel.
  • Cabopino Beach – 7 kilometres from the centre of the resort, Cabopino is the place to go if you are looking for a bit of sea-swimming, since its sheltered position makes it less vulnerable to currents that can affect other stretches of the local coastline.
  • Nagueles Beach – centrally located and popular with visitors, this is another great spot for water sports.
